o_o.. i have a 8GB nano... .-. i need like 56 GB to backup my PS3... so ive decided i was gonna backup my saved data only ill just have to redownload the game is all right? i wont actually have to start my whole gave over from scratch when i replace my Memory with a bigger one?

my external hard drive isnt recognized by my PS3 as a device that it can back up to, but actually is. where and how can i change this ?

@Sweetassour never mind it's working, restoring the ipod prior to backing up ps3 data is essential despite if it's empty or not.

I cant back up to my Ipod because when I connect it it says there is 0kb of free data and that I need 26gb free space but when I connect it to my pc it shows 28GB free, any ideas?

can someone please help me...my ps3 will not let me do this..it will start then a min later it will say "the usb divice cannot be accessed" what am i doing wrong some help me please!!! =(

put the ipod in hard drive mode, you can do it via itunes.

that's cool i think ima buy a 40GB ps3 and back it up with an external hard drive so i'll have more memory :P....i'm not quit sure though how 2 back it up with an external hard drive, do u know? pls help
