Yeah, I feel your pain. On the other hand, I have a lot of favorites whose output includes brilliant gems among a cesspool of turds. It's hard to get it right 11 out of 11 times.
One intriguing thing about Eric Matthews, I think, is that the lyrics must drive some people bats (pretentious) and thoroughly beguile others.

I remember going to my science class when I was a junior stoned out of my mind, had my headphones on & this song came on the radio. This tune went VERY well with my high lol.

Can you imagine a group made up of Eric, Jason, and Roger Manning(Jellyfish)- WOW!!! The harmonies alone would be would be crazy!
