Your right. They do write off country music and they are missing out on some great music. And this song is a perfect example of that. It's good that you do like other genre's. There is such great music out there. Your first comment read as though country was all you listened to. I just assumed. Sorry 'bout that.

By the same token, a lot of people write off Country Music before even giving it a try. I do like other genres, but to me, Country will always be my absolute favorite.

With all due respect, if that's what you believe, then you are missing out on a great deal of outstanding music that's created in other genre's. I used to have the same opinion of Rock. But I stumbled onto, of all things, a piece of classical music that changed and expanded my limited taste in music. Give yourself a gift and at least listen to other genre's with a more open mind. I think you will be very suprised. If it doesn't work out for you, at least you tried. Just a suggestion.

He is a throw back to country root music. I think it's that he puts a little blue grass in all his music.

Vince Gill is a genius. There's not one song that he doesn't pour his heart in to.
