California is way better, Nevada is a boring state, yeah, you guys have casinos and all that, but thats the only thing keeping you guys up, the entertainment :(

To me Nevada is better. Gun laws are more relax, no state tax and is not as populated. just my two cents.

You posed two issues, but I will respond to only one right now, due to time constraints. Let me talk about ChickenLittle. The point: If the Mexican Army occupies Southern California sometime around 2050 to restore order and provide security services that the US gov will not be able to provide because it is dysfunctional, insolvent, & tied up in foreign wars, then the SKY WILL NOT HAVE FALLEN. Many rich Hollywood folks will be happy to provide living quarters for the Mexican Army, eh?

California is a beautiful and historical place. Redwoods, deserts, mountains, valleys, warm and cool beaches, lakes, rivers, etc.
BUT, right now, it would be better to live somewhere else :( My brother is going to school in Oregon and he says it made him realize how much more well off some other places are.
