Video of French APCs rolling through Abidjan as Ivory Coast still tense

Ivorians in Abidjan ventured out of their homes on Wednesday, some to collect water, as the city remained tense with the country's strongman Laurent Gbagbo holed up in a subterranean bunker and forces backing his rival Alassane Ouattara assaulting his residence to try to force him out. Some local residents cheered on the side of a road as French armoured personnel carriers drove by. United Nations attack helicopters helped by French troops bombarded the ruler's arsenal late Monday, acting on a Security Council resolution.

Funny that, Britain can destroy France, yet has NEVER been able to keep Afghanistan steady. Three times the Brits have gone there now, and three time sit was a massive failure. So speculating on who would win an imaginary war isn't worth while when the British army are bogged down by a people with no army.

France fights in afghanistan, France is fighting in Africa maintaining peace while other countries dont. France fought in ww2 and lost the initial, just like poland, netherlands, belgium, poland, denmark, norway, north-africa, balkans&greece&UK did. UK was pushed away by japs in the pacific too. And this is just one war where France wasn't alone with the defeat of blitzkrieg. Many of you dont really seem to remember that France have been to moscow inwar, havent seen many other countries do that.
