  • it's always funny to see some former government official or very unpopular one to whine to americans :D

  • Fox News is a fucking shame!

  • The first investigators on the scene in Madrid after the bombings are on record saying that it was NOT ETA. The Popular Party(first Aznar, then Rajoy) are still putting out this story, in spite of all the evidence.

LadyCop212, the Spanish people do not agree with you, as Zapatero was re-elected.

This interview is shameful pandering to an ignorant right-wing loony section of American opinion by a man who still will not accept that he lost the election, due to his Iraq policy, hated in Spain.

  • First, various European countries were dealing with terrorism for some forty years before the Americans discovered the issue. In the case of the IRA, shamefully, American citizens supplied money and weapons to keep the terrorists going. Spain, Turkey and Greece are still dealing with various terrorist groups.

Aznar's party lost the election, Zapatero's won. Mr Zapatero withdrew the Spanish troops from Iraq because that was the declared policy of his party, stated clearly before the election.

  • Europe wasn't prepared to fight Hitler? What about Britain, France, Poland and later the Soviets? They were all prepared to fight (and fought) the Nazis before the US was! The reason the European countries were reluctant to fight Hitler before 1939 was because of Europe's horrendous experience during WW1. They didn't want a repeat. It's easy to see things in hindsight but that was part of the view back then. It's like saying the Americans weren't brave enough to fight Japan before Pearl Harbor.

  • they dont, obviously! their aim was to force spanish withdrawal from iraq, which they apparently acheived in one fell swoop.

  • yea thanks for reminding me, i forgot to mention the americans also played a major part in the treaty of munich (in which they basically handed hitler czechoslovakia on a silver platter).

  • Russia wanted 2 weaken the germans, they asked the pols to rise up and fight and that they'll come in and help - they never came in. I wouldn't say Britain was appeasing Hitler. JFK's dad did though. And US pretended the war wasn't going on. But yeah i agree with u that no one has a clear conscience here.

  • No, Bill we were trying to avoid a war.

We're sorry we dont go bombing the shit out of people when we disagree with them. Jesus, this guy was Spanish PM?

IQ 2 ripped the shit outta him. Have you noticed that all of Bills guests are either thick or have soar throats?

  • Bill, Spain has over 1000 troops in Afghanistan. Britain has 10, 000.

So shut your fucking ignorant mouth.

Have you ever EVEN been to Europe?

    Fucking numpdies.
