@rykeyz well the media has it all messed up. REAL POP PUNK is The Buzzcocks, 999, and The Queers. dont believe what wikipedia tells you or the magizines. the labels call this stuff Pop Punk to make money and make it sound edgy. its really just Pop Rock. there isnt a Punk thing about it. i'm not bashing so dont everyone be a bitch, i'm just making corrections where they need to be made.

I'm making a movie with some friends. This is on the soundtrack!! Love this song and Ryan Key!

@xDuTcHOvEN They came out the same year, but since this came out in November I'm pretty sure that makes Nothing Personal first

It's Kinda Sad When Most Of The Good Guys Go For Girls Like This.

@SilentVokativiusos ich erinnere mich! :D

Oh yeah, the melody doesnt fit pw ofc :D Perhaps a little if the song was darkened up. Id say the rhytm flow fits OC better than WYTTSY but if i refer to Promises maybe its just the other way around.
Ich weiß übrigens, dass du deutsch bist, wir redeten bereits per PN :P

@SilentVokativiusos If I had to put it on a YC record I'd say either Ocean Ave or WYTTSY because of the fact that the song is pretty catchy. But I think I know what you mean. And by the way, I am German too :D

Youre right with the deeper meaning, this one is ofc pretty easy to understand but i was refering more to the setting than to the way of the description - maybe my skills in dividing these arguments are way worse in english than in german. As I said i would never expect these lyrics to be released in a fully yc-styled album. But the way of thinking and feeling in fact remembers me of paper walls even though in PW there arent these cynic notes.

@SilentVokativiusos he only co-wrote it, so I don't know how big his influence was on the lyrics. and honestly, Ryan's usual lyrics have far more rhetorical devices (such as metaphors, comparism, etc.) in it, with deeper meaning. ;-)
-
€: To be more precisely before anyone criticizes it - i wouldnt think this lyrics would be in a YC-song but they have a strong note of Ryans lyric style.

@TheBobbyLemon I said POP PUNK which is not to be mistaken with PUNK ROCK.

@psychiqueify This would've been a really nice comment if you hadn't spelled it in this awful way. Just saying... ;-)
