Hey andkjaer, that's a beautiful machine you have. Immaculate looking engine there! Any tips on using them as an every day car? I usually commute about 50 miles each way in a 2007 Jetta at about 70 mph average speed. I'd like to have this and a 1968 Porsche 911 Cabriolet one day in my garage :D

@Stevef2234 I would go with a 1776cc With a Engle 120.
Thats a Mild Street engine. With some pep.

Nice Ghia.... I have a 70' Ghia.
And A 65 Drag Bug.

If you where do redo the motor on a stock ghia, what would you do differently? I am planning a project ghia.

Nice and a little envious. I have a top list of cars that I would want to eventually own and the volkswagen carmengia is one of'em.

Nice Ghia. Hope mine looks and sounds as nice when it is finished.
Hey! I don't have the car anymore, and I'm not the right person to ask of tips from. Don't get me wrong, but I'm really just an user.. ;D But sweet sweet ride!
