Warning! Opossums WILL Bite, I'm a professional :)

This video is intended to show that opossums are not the vicious animals that so many people believe they are. Yes, they make noise and slober...yes, they are capable of biting but they do not attack even when cornered.

I understand some of you may be concerned that I am harming or stressing the animals. They are not being harmed and I would rather stress them a little so that they can be shown to be the gentle creatures they are. They have prehensile tails and holding them like I do does no harm. It is not true that they hang from their tails and I don't suggest grabbing one by the tail unless you know what you are doing because it is possible to hurt them. Be kind to opossums : )
