@Owlduke I agree. I'm an oboist myself &-as much as I love the sound the oboe makes-I find the deeper & more resonant tone of the Cor Anglais so much more appealing!

I'm impressed, that's just amazing. This piece somehow reminds me of Smetana's Moldau. I like the way the different tone colors of the Enlglish Horn are used, and also like the way how the different textures unfold as the music unfolds in time. A brilliant piece. Congrats!
Beautiful piece of work. The english horn has such a beautiful tone.
