On the floor - Ben Field

It is now more than two and a half year since I became a single dad. I wrote this song at the beginning of this year about that period and for I while I thought it would be just something I never shared but I decided to stick it up on youtube and dedicate it to everyone who has helped and supported me to get back on my feet. Sometimes just a smile or a kind word from someone has made such a difference and I want to thank you all even if you don't realize how much of a support you have been.:o)

Writing a song about such a an experience can be very therapeutic. I've been there, though it's been many years and before I was married. I've never been a single dad. Sorry for your pain, but surely time will put things into perspective.
