  • Mike Ford is actually my cousin! (the one with the megaphone and lead singing)

He is still performing and writing, as well as teaching kids about Canada! There was much animosity going on in the group in the end.

Don't look for any reunions from these guys. A damn shame!

  • That bites! I love Moxy Fruvous. Wish I'd had the chance to see them live. :-P

  • GET BACK TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Timinator43 I spoke with Terri at a house concert Mike performed at in 2007. She said that there will not be a reunion. Even his step daughter was begging him to do one.

However in 2005 three out of four reunited to do an update of "Today's The Day that We Fight Back" on the radio for the CBC lockout. Dave was not present.

  • That dude said "go girl":( lol

  • I was a big fan. I bought five or maybe six cd's. Never got to see them live.

The thing I love most about this song is it's connection to Judy Garland. Search, "I was born in Michigan" from easter parade. "I wish that I was back in Michigan down on the farm.

  • Brilliant... provocative statement about the futility of War.. and simultaneously paints Heros with the loud ancient belligerence which they earn.. and are always entitled to. Play it in the streets of Occupied Tibet.. Play it down and out in Georgia.. Play it on the Banks of the Gilo River in Africa.. In the morning Haze in the Cafes along the Mediteranean shoreline.. where the buildings shine.. and come play that thing at the Shambhalla Cafe... somehwere in and around Ganymede... Peace

  • Oh, how I miss them! I feel lucky to have seen them live a couple of times in Los Angeles. At least I get to see Murray when he comes around with Great Big Sea. Not often enough, but they'll be here next month!

  • @RandiBeeman They were AWESOME live. "Live Noise" captures it almost perfectly.
