Ummm what do I say. No offense but the articulation was sloppy. There was no dynamics and the trio needed some work. The 2nd & 3rd cornets are supposed to be a part of the melody not covered up and the Bass clarinet needs some work. And for christ sakes add a basson. Or bring that part out.We are playing this for our Texas varsity middle school UIL contest and we have won the top honers for 27 straight years and I'm sorry to say that you still need work on this piece. Its not a french march but a belgian march
one of the famoust one and very special because of the clarinets not always used
in the march of our parachustits and we are very proud of it

ha ha ha, silly Bass Clarinets.......I played Contra Bass Clarinet here, and played the bass clarinet part. it was quite difficult to play the 16th note pickups right, lol. good fun though.
