Good question. The mule requires, food, water and rest. While bigdog never sleeps and runs on electricity, which may (or may not) be easier to obtain. Bigdog requires no training as it is a robot, and therefore obeys your every command without question, and will never kick it's owner when frightened. Bigdog has no fear, pain or discomfort, and can therefore be used where it would be inhumane to use a mule. Now back to my techno-gasm!
