Another new song from singer/songwriter David Ippolito. "My Stupid Country" - Does Sarah Palin even know what the words on her prompter mean!? Bill O'Reilly really thinks there is no scientific explanation for the ebb and flow of the tide? This is the very first time this song was played in concert. (Merkin Concert Hall, NYC) Featuring: Teresa Reynolds, George Wurzbach, Nelson Montana, David Marcus, Chris Tedesco and Ryan Cavan.

  • It is funny and it sounds good!

  • Yes, America is a stupid country. I think we can all agree on that. What Mr. Ippolito is neglecting to mention (or just doesn't know) is that it is by far not alone in this regard. There are plenty of complete dumbasses in other countries as well, American ones are just more noticeable because America itself is more noticeable.

  • This is your best song yet. I hope you continue to rock. The Palin part is so accurate, as well as the Obama part.

    BTW, are you a Boomer?

  • Speech is never so free as when it is sung, and you sing the truth so well, bravo!

  • Ya this bee a stoopid country in 2010 and in 2011. Ya don't like it, stop complaining, take action to make a difference or move.

  • Funny song! True!

"If Glenn Beck has a show then our standards must be lower than low..." and "Nearly half of the Right Wing thinks Obama wears a mask, a Kenyan spy whose birth certificate is fake..."

Very talented musicians on that stage. David Ippolito rocks!

  • @RobUSMCity You're conflating one thing with another. The loss of your brother is a tragedy. The song is a joke. It's about silly people. It does not deride your brothers service.

  • I've seen my brother's lose their life in front of me. I've seen horrors most will never have to witness. I imagine I will live with those visions to my dying day, whenever that dat comes. It's a joke??. I don't agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to freedom of speech.
