Biography of Walid Shoebat

Born in Bethlehem of Judea, Walid's grandfather was the Muslim Mukhtar (chieftain) of Beit Sahour-Bethlehem (The Shepherd's Fields) and a friend of Haj-Ameen Al-Husseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and notorious friend of Adolf Hitler.

Walid's great grandfather, Abdullah Ali Awad-Allah, was also a fighter and close associate of both Abdul Qader and Haj Amin Al-Husseini, who led the Palestinians against Israel. Walid lived through and witnessed Israel's Six Day War while living in Jericho.

As a young man, he became a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel, and was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem's central prison for incitement and violence against Israel.

After his release, he continued his life of violence and rioting in Bethlehem and the Temple Mount. After entering the U.S, he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization at Loop College in Chicago and continued his anti-Israel activities.

In 1993, Walid studied the Tanach (Jewish Bible) in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam. Six months later, after intense study, Walid realized that everything he had been taught about Jews was a lie. Convinced he was on the side of evil, he became an advocate for his former enemy.

Driven by a deep passion to heal his own soul, and to bring the truth about the Jews and Israel to the world, Walid shed his former life and his work as a software engineer and set out to tirelessly bring the cause of Israel to tens of thousands of people throughout the world: churches and synagogues, civic groups, government leaders and media.

Walid has written several online books including "Dear Muslim, Let Me Tell You Why I Believed" and "Israel, And The World's Mock Trial", where he exposes anti-Semitism and the hatred of Jews in both the Islamic Christian and secular worlds.

Walid is an American citizen and lives in the USA with his wife and children, under this assumed name.

Engagements:

Walid has spoken all over America and the world including Chile, Mexico, Canada, UK and South Africa. He has appeared on national television also all over the world including CNN, CNN International, FOX News, ITN, RTE, NBC, CBS, and ABC. He has also been featured on BBC radio 4 and 5.

  • And for a further explanation of "emmanuel" or God with us Walid only needs to refer to the Bible. "The Lord came from Sinai, And dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran" (Dt 33:2). And for the meaning of Mount Paran refer to Genesis 21 20 "And God was with the boy (Ishmael) as he grew up in the wilderness of Paran." And so Walid has a problem here as Jesus is put in the same sentence with Muhammad by God in the Bible. Jesus was as the Dawn of God, Muhammad was the full shine.

  • Psalms 83 is not referring to the Muslims. This is from the time of David. And the successors were through the lineage of Isaac until after Jesus, Peter and Paul at least before it switched back to the descendants of Ishmael and Muhammad. And so David is making dua to Allah SWT for victory over the disbelievers and pagans. Belief does not come from race.

  • @ASexyChef We're quick to blame people or God rather than aid the situation and mend it ourselves which is as I believe Gods intentions. Remember we are the work of God, so in some ways we are his way of riding evil through our choices. As you said people interfere with his messages and twist it to control people. I believe religion is a form of control because the idea of God is freedom of the mind and soul. He only offers us a guideline to life not a prison.

  • @ASexyChef Well, I came to a conclusion as to why God cannot change what happens on earth. He created us with the idea of free will. God does not go back on his words. Now with free will you need to have opposites for choices I.e = good and bad. He does not aim to prove the world he exists but to prove to YOU he does. If he showed himself then people would be stripped of their free will because they KNOW he exists. So he cannot interfere with peoples free choices, because it is up to US.

  • @ThePuckington Well I do not disagree when you wonder why God doesn't seem to show himself, or miracles, etc. Personally I think the meaning of life is self discovery, the reason why faith is so screwed up is because people get involved and use it, it becomes part of politics. Humans are humans, people use God to try to justify horrible things, and do not have an answer for any of that.. Its what I struggle with myself, its why do horrible things happen to innocents, children, etc.

  • @ThePuckington I have been a Christian for over 20 years and have read the bible many times and have studied eschatology for most of those 20 years and let me tell you, Shoebat is right on the money

Of course, you are likely leaning towards what Islam states, and that is your choice, but let me tell you, Islam is very clearly an AntiChrist religion, so dont expect people like myself who are well versed to be accepting of Muslims

  • @AlYassou3Rabbi I do not troll videos...? thats your own observation. I like to ask questions wherever I can. I like to get into the community and understand other peoples views. I'm relatively young and still searching for answers. But debates are not meant for hate. I believed this guy was right, and as I been talking more and learning more, I'm realising otherwise. But never do I troll, I challenge people.

  • @ThePuckington Dont worry, you will meet Jesus someday, and if you have not confessed him Lord and Savior, you will on that day, just before you hear the splash and begin to sense the burn

If you do not like religious debate, why do you troll very obvious religious videos and make comments?

    Stick to knitting Aunt Bea

  • @AlYassou3Rabbi I defend them whenever I hear misconceptions. I really cannot care for religion itself. I defend the Muslim as a people not a religion. Kinda sick of religion to be fair. Makes me sick too. Makes you think, if only jesus were here.

  • @ASexyChef The qu'ran was peaceful while Mohammad was in Medina where there was a large majority of Jews, but once he went to Meccah, you see the Abrogated Verses written where Mohammad calls for the killing of Jews.

    You should educate yourself.
