one time i had an art class in freshman year of high school, for a assignment we had to draw someone that we consider our hero so i drew Yuri. when my dad saw the drawing i explained who he was and when i said his name my dad said "oh, he was Russian" i responded "no, he was a human"

What Yuri Gagarin accomplished is perhaps the most important accomplishment for our species. He remains one of the most inspirational member of our species. I just can't imagine how awesome it was to realize you were the first human to ever leave Earth and enter space. Amazing.

Wonderful Tribute to Juri and his Daughters. What a Very Brave Man-inspirational.

He was not the first Russian in space though his collegue died in the very first flight when landing. The Russians covered it up so big respect for me and his family too.

Marcaron un camino y forma de trabajar que a hoy parece de rutina, ya que muchos se animaron a seguirlo; en todo este tiempo mandamos a mas de 300 personas al espacio.

Otro logro comparable y no igualado es el de Piccard y Walsh en la fosa de las Marianas 11 km bajo el mar.

Tenemos maravillas de la ingeniería y mas tecnología, pero estamos muy lejos de volver a juntar esos formidables equipos de trabajo humano.
