Runner grew out of the ashes of the bands Rare Bird and The Arrows (where Joan Jett heard and rerecorded "I Love Rock and Roll") with the two bands' respective singers Steve Gould and Alan Merrill joining forces The rhythm section they enlisted was Dave Dowle, Whitesnake's original drummer, and Mick Feat, bassist of Van Morrison's.

Probably my favourite song off the Runner album,...brilliant !!! What a travesty that Runner never had the success their talent deserved.Steve Gould is my favourite vocalist..what a talent.Thanks for the upload !
