Canadian Blackforest 8 day Westminster clock with German works. A wonderful looking and tremendously sonoras sounding clock. A stunning beauty produced sometime before 1921 since that's when the name Blackforest got changed. So it's at least 87 years old. It keeps excellent time and it's in pretty good shape.

  • I don't like the video because you spoiled the video by moving the camera away from the clock and that meant I couldn't see how the clock struck beautiful clock though.

  • Beautiful Chime.

  • linden

  • Oooh. I see. It sounds rather deep and mellow. My uncle had a grandfather clock which struck the Westminster Quarters and his chimes were a lot brighter.

  • I know that. But I mean the same tones of the chimes. Same pitch.

  • The chimes are called the Westminster Quarters, named after the Palace of Westminster in London, England.

  • OMG! My Mantel clock has that same chime!

  • nice clock, and sound, but you should have closed the door as it affects the sound of the clock!!

  • Are these still on the market?

  • Som maravilhoso!!!
