This is the current state of my diploma thesis. The task is to implement a readtime free surface fluid simulation using the lattice boltzmann method with bleeding edge apis: OpenCL 1.0 and OpenGL 3.2 core mode.

You can find the source of the final version and further information @ http://www.martin-schreiber.info/diplomathesis.html

  • @11myedu Ah, I read your comment wrong. Yes I agree, it looks very good.

  • @heroclix0rz NOPE,im saying that this water is very realistic becuase it glues in the in virtual box but i think a im provement for it should be more particles and foam, with that it will be amazing

  • @11myedu You're telling me that when you get out of a pool you're completely dry?

  • Sour milk.

  • This kind of water "glues" in the walls like real water.

  • Very cool! The rotating gravity vector was sick! maybe remove those strange revolving spheres and stuff from the next vid tho. That picture of Lena can OBVIOUSLY stay though! haha :P

  • Great simulation! I wish I had OpenCL...
