Hi Miguel - Servant of God Catherine Dougherty founded Madonna House in Combmere, Ontario Canada. with her husband Eddie about 50 yrs. ago. Before that, she established Friendship Houses in Harlem, other U.S. cities and Canada and lived with the poor as well.
