@gtiapr3 good answer, but the engine should not ping at all. however, the computer program will compensate for the impending ping and will result in a loss of power. put in 93 oct. in a modern engine rated for 87 and watch all you efforts go down the tubes. but you wont hurt it

will this also increase your gas mileage?

I put one on my '07 300 SRT-8, very pleased. I first put a mopar CAI on and loved the gain except from a stand still w/o a brake, it lost just a tad. The predator fixed that and told the computer to run harder, shift harder.
i was wondering if anyone could explain to me what the CAI (at 4:21) is when looking at the predator's screen and explain a bit on the differences of choosing a tune with the perf Cai 93 oct, and the perf 93 oct. also, somewhat of a common sense question but does the perf 87 oct less powerful than the perf 91 oct? i'll check back in a few days nice product keep up the good work

@Ruthlesss86 CAI = Cold Air Intake, I believe compensates for additional air flow that results from installing a intake system. In regards to the octane; the higher the octane tune the more advanced the timing. If you run a 93 octane tuner with 87 octane fuel your engine may ping. The higher the tune/octane the greater the power.
