"Porgy and Bess" est un opéra et Renée Fleming est tout à fait à sa place !!! j'aime son chant sublime ! mais je préfère une interprétation Jazz mezzo-soprano ! question de goût pour l'Opéra en entier ! Exquise et excellente Renée F.

This is the only version of "Summertime" I have found on You Tube of Renee Fleming singing that is true to the original Gershwin operatic score. Gorgeous! Her control on the last high note is just exquisite and the portamento perfect. Although her "pop" versions of this song are beautiful, I prefer the purity of the authentic operatic rendition. A true American diva!
