It sickens me that you are intent on diverting attention on this issue. it sickens me that you will not bother to actually find out what the accusations being made are. I am sickened that, after seven decades of covering up abuse, you are more interested in complaining about this being reported rather than the abuses and cover ups themselves.

Do not try to minimise such a serious issue just because you cannot stand that your groups is at the centre of it. Also - this is about Ireland.

@EireAnon As mentioned, if someone touches your child on the bottom, it is not going to hurt them. Please. Some people think this is worse than your child being beaten to death or run over in car accident. I feel much sorrier for people who lost all their money in their pension plans and are now poverty sticken. This sick shit is coming from America. They think killing and defrauding is OK. @EireAnon (cont) It pisses me off the society thinks that people who are accused of touching a child are threated as worse than those who defraud millions of people out of their life savings. So what if some children get touched inappropriately. I was as a child and soon got over it. It is no big deal. If someone stole all my life's savings and ruined me, I would not get over that so quickly. I'm sorry, but American society is really sick. Sick as. It really pisses me off. Seriously.

@EireAnon It is serious. It represents an all out attack on the Catholic Church. The problem is that people are being labeled as pardophiles whether they are or not. If any child accuses a priest for even touching them, that priest will go to prison. Once there, these people are the mercy of sociopaths who will murder them. @themadhair No. I don't think the media should be "laying blame". In my experience, people in the media have been amongst the worst liars, cheats, drunkards. If you can believe it, I knew people in the media using the services of prostitutes, even cheating on their wives!! Women in the media also have sex and cheat ion their husbands, even in the USA!!!!
