Who remembers which celebrity in the maverick male position in the middle of the bottom row who bent Terry's microphone - It was probably Kenny Everett! Even now, you could name any celebrity and put them in the correct place on the Blankety Blank Panel. Go on, try it.

Would have been a cracking show with Mr Kenny Everett on the show , other celebs likely to cause trouble at the time were , Freddie Starr , and Rod Hull and Emu.

This title sequence was from the second series which aired in late 1979 as in series 1 which was earlier that year the title sequence had the programme title appear 6 times in 2 rows of 3 and they rotated as each celebrity was introduced and the set was similar to the set of the US version Match Game with the circles & triangles lighting up each time the contestant matched with a celebrity.
