leelaural Her journey isn't over. It is easy to become disheartened working in the AOD sector. A close friend of mine died recently after a heroin/diazepam/ codeine/ binge, and I'm worried about another whose just got a payout. I hope she commits to a therapy/rehab regime and gets off the booze, she has a lot more going for her than many others. She is willing to share part of her inner journey with us, I'm hoping we can learn from her experience.
The fact that this song exists is amazing to me. It's definitely catchy and highlights Amy's talent, but the fact that it chronicles Amy's denial about her drug and alcohol addiction adds an....interesting element that makes it captivating.
