John Crowder claims he met Jesus while on an acid trip and now travels the world getting people quite literally high on God. He and his disciples 'drink', 'inject' and 'smoke' Jesus and spend much of their time seemingly wasted and posting bizarre sermon videos on YouTube.

  • @RONIDC1979 You don't seem to be in control of your Caps Lock.

  • You guys go right ahead and keep casting around for something that makes you happy being deluded and sick.

Things that aren't real aren't real, including gods. These people's minds are starved for real input. Their brains are so sick and emaciated from being forced to live on lies, abuse, and paranoia that they've finally snapped and been taken over by their own brains' need to control their realities and environments.

    Just wake up, already.

  • @TheOneartist And yeah, he still comes off as a gimmick and a bit too sensational, sometimes masking the true message. But he's not like the Catholic Church, though. That's for sure. It does look like there's people he's legitimately helped.

Just throwing in my two cents.

  • @TheOneartist Watching this video to the end, though, I have to say I can definitely see where this guy is coming from and I do agree with a lot of what he says. After all, who am I to judge? I hate it when people judge others. It's good to see someone breaking out of the norm. I'm a hippie after all. Just can't say I agree with his drug views, because I believe that cannabis and psilocybin mushrooms (manna) are holy gifts from God that can be used as tools to grow closer to Him.

  • I'm a Christian who believes in the use of cannabis and psychedelics, but this guy is a bit too wacked out for my taste. Hey, there's no limit or set definition to how you can worship Jesus, true, and this guy is doing some actually really good stuff in terms of missionary work and spreading the faith.

But the whole "getting high off Jesus" ... come on. The way that one guy was describing getting high on Jesus as opposed to weed made me facepalm. And the worrying part is it turning into a cult.

  • its also commonly believed that everyone has a snake spirit in lower most chakra, located between your hips, and that it travels up your spine to the top of your head and explodes out into a super awareness of the 'divine' and feelings of being 'de-burdened' and 'blessed'. usually you are profusely crying but unattached to the emotional side of the grief. confused why you are crying. its called a Kundalini Awakening and ive experienced it in a 'christian' setting. please use your own discernment

  • not everyone is born of the Spirit. but these experiences can be manifested in anyone who is in captivity to the enemy, who are not in Christ and who have not slain that nature. it is a very real sub-nature that everyone posses and it is invoked numerous ways. such as yoga, meditation, drugs, the laying on of hands.. etc. it seems the Lord is letting it loose, hoping that ppl will love the truth rather than their own pleasure. (2 Thessalonians 2:9,10)

  • its gonna take you to hell

  • @zEropoint68 youre funny

  • the dichtonomy between faith versus feelings is in fact dangerous. believing them in ignoring my feelings i had a breakdown

his defintion of mysticism at 11:31 is absolutely valid.but the anti intellectual spin later on is twisted

but he seeks a counterfeit because he does not know the real.

again a false dichtomy from him, the same as the others but from the other side.

experience YES, but they MUST be weighed CAREFULLY.

we are to KNOW GOD personally. this is experiential

  • notice there are only two alternatives to these people and their opponents:

this madness or church religion, stultifying, legalistic, crushing and irrelevant.

and some actually choose legalism because of this nonsense i see here.

when he is not toking his talk is quite sane, but again he abuses the truth to justify said toking.: metaphor, yes but false metaphor when he uses it

the truth is NEITHER OF THESE : neither toking the ghost or dead church religion
