They have. But mostly remixes made with modern synthesizers. The best covers stay faithful to the original and even incorporate some of the original C64 sounds in it.

Nice trip down memory lane. I wrote to system 3 asking if there will ever be a new last ninja title. They responded with them having thought's of how to bring a new last ninja title to the market. Which would do the francise justice. That sounded pretty promising to me. Might never happen offcourse but the answer was't a stone cold No.

Theme from LVL 5 "The Palace" is my favourite. Amazing bassline "6:12"

omg, they actually included the original tape loading tune as the music for level 4, that's awesome, didn't think I'd get to hear that one in it's Amiga incarnation, really loving it :)

So anyone else heard about The Last Ninja 4 being in making since 03-04, but they just can't get it good enough?

Amiga bitchslapped C64 like a mother when it came to graphics and music. They only suck in this game particular.

Crap music. I never had the amiga but i really have to say that the musicthemes from the C64 original are ofc better

That's ridiculous. The Last Ninja Amiga versions have no soul but the Amiga itself has a lot of it :)
