I have to point this out, wind or any grid electric power has nothing to do with foreign oil. We import oil to run cars, trucks, and make plastics and so on. We do not use oil to make any significant amount electricity. We use coal and natural gas for that, and we actually export coal. We import some natural gas, but only from mexico. If you want to get off mideast oil, buy an electric car. Wind power is still good though.
