The Intro, and Demo mode of Twinbee Yahoo!, in Detana!! Twinbee Yahoo! Deluxe Pack, on Playstation 1.

This series of four vids from this game are especially dedicated to Narox, who's a fan of shoot-em-up games : these videos are my way of thanking him for adding my channel into his "10 Awesome Channels" series. :)

The song played in Twinbee Yahoo! 's intro starting from 1:53, "Bokura no Suteki", is one I fell instantly in love with when I first heard it. It's made of win and awesome, and I wasn't surprised to heard that it was a Mariko Kouda song. Since there's a lot of songs from her I recently discovered and happened to like, I really should look into some of her CDs before I leave Japan.

Also, I dunno if I'm the only one to have the same feeling, but somehow, Pastel's TV start-up greeting at 0:58 reminds me a lot of Hikari's start-up greeting in Tokimeki Memorial 2 Taisen Puzzle Dama. When checking them both carefully, they have a few similarites (but are not 100% identical), indeed. :p

  • "Bokura no Suteki"... Mariko Kouda is Awesome...

This song is available in full version on "Twinbee Vocal Paradise - Featuring Mariko Kouda". Also the theme "Harmony ~ Remix" is inside too.

  • Totally agreed. :D

I've seen this album on several Book-Off stores for a rather low price, I'll get this one this week. Thanks for the tip. :)

(BTW, while we're at Mariko Kouda, did you know that she's the seiyuu of Anne, one of the main chars of Mitsumete Knight ? She also sang the Anne-specific Ending Song, "Koi suru to" (恋をすると), and although I like this song a bit less than the Twinbee ones, it's a very nice song IMO. :) )

  • Yahho, or Yahoo's soundtrack is remarkable, it's graphics are remarkable, it's game play is phenomenal. It never feels old, no matter how many times you go through it, it's a short game, but the boss fights feel epic. Especially the knight and over-sized doll fights, those fights sum up exactly how good this game is, also has one of the coolest opening demos ever made.
