Lego Racers 2 Walkthrough (2/2)

Mars (cont.): It's safe to say I went overboard with the upgrades, considering Reigel didn't stand a chance.
Arctic: The first level I played here was really annoying during that one hair-pin turn. It often cost me the race. When facing the Berg, he isn't too bad as long as you know about the short-cut after the cave.
Xalax: Oh man, it's about time we got here. I actually like this world. No, really, I do. It's the only part of this game I enjoy playing. The music is catchy, the tracks actually feel different, and there were several nice touches. The loop and the long jumps are always fun to go through. There is one thing that I don't like about this world, though - Rocket Racer. No, he's not hard at all. In fact, he's the total opposite - he's way too easy! His track is a very generic circle with random walls and ramps thrown in. After you see the clever and creative tracks Xalax had, as well as the other tough bosses, you'd expect Rocket Racer to pose a threat on a really complex track. To make this worse, he goes up ramps which clearly slow you down. Well, at least the ending is deserving. During the credits, it's supposed to do a replay of the race you ran, but it desyncs a lot, and it happened here. Oh well, at least I'm done.

I remember one playthrough where I did ALL the minigames and got nothing but Power.

By the end of the first lap Rocket Racer was way in the dust

I think Riegel is my favorite character in this entire game. I was obsessed with that mech of his. Sadly my Riegel figure's arms broke because Lego used cheap plastic for them D:
