sx4 trying the elements at 16200ft

watch as we tried to make it to gurudongmar lake 17100 ft (north sikkim) near the tibetan plateau on the maruti sx4.it was crazy drivin in that snow and thin air, risky as wife n kids were there 2 and once in a lifetime experience coz i ll never do it again.the sx4 made it till 16200 ft until the snow wouldnt let us pass n i have nothin but great admiration for this tough car.

civilians are allowed provided they get a pass from the tourism deptt. easier way would be to ask a local travel agent to arrange for one.

sx4 is just great for long drives, intercity traffic. It manages itself very nicely throught traffic. Very less strain to the driver when going on long distances. Its suspensions are great so you dont feel any jerks at all. Moreover SX4 has very good features like airbas, ABS, audio controls on steering

Man you went on the wrong time, but that scenery is amazing. I went on may and it was beautifull. Next time try to plan a trip around may.

That was an awesome trip to heaven's lake,its a pity you boys n the kids couldn't make it to the top.Kudos to the gals-they rocked!Next time minus the snow we'l take SX4 n reach the top till then keep the faith.C u around Dikila.P.S-u guys watchin this HAVE to HAVE to c it to believe it!
