@RichardEllisxyz That does show just how strong a person he is, considering he's not the most fit of people. Mind you if he could take the training to go into space and the drive to a high altitude then he can take all sorts. Saying that in an interview he did about that accident he said it was on the way to the hospital he lost consciousness once or twice. I think had it not have been for his foot it could've ended up worse. Standing, holding the strap was a bit stupid.

James May is running on few brain-cells while he's conscious, a good smack on the head & he's speech impaired limping along with a dozen or so brain-cells...........All kidding aside glad he got his head screwed back on tightly, that was a good whack he got.........He was quite dazed there for awhile, suprised he was still awake & sort of talking.

@MrEvilLunchBox Oh I don't know. This is the same person who wrote in one of his columns a while back about having a bet with Jeremy about riding his motorbike without a helmet and actually going ahead with it. Glad he's okay, but hope it knocked a bit of sense into him. Mind you he probably never goes fast enough for anything to happen anyway.

@The10Girl If you add it up over time as a kid I saw a lot more of my own blood than that from various trips, falls, spills, and general idiocy well before I was five. I think kids are treated too delicately these days and that while your sensibility is common it may be a bit silly to say that a kid can't see a little blood unless you're going to run up and cover their eyes whenever they trip.
