50 Years ago, my grandfathers American Dream was to have his own home with the mortgage paid off, and to not owe anyone anything. He also wanted to be able to spend a month in europe when he retired. He was willing to save half his income his whole life to achieve it.
My friends - their American Dream is to be handed all the money in the world without any work. They want multiple cars, multiple houses, constant vacations and every gadget imaginable.
It's sick.

the american dream, by definition, is contradictory. its to obtain wealth, happiness, power etc. without compromising your or your loved ones morals. there is no such thing. people thank by surrounding themselves with materials, they will feel fulfilled and content. wrong. many people will tell you some of the happiest times in their life was when they were dirt poor and happy. not when theyre rich alone and miserable.

its over for america. GM and ford been going under for at least 4 years. pay attention to other countries, cause we will have the same problems here. no food!
