Commonly known as NCND agreements, many employees are forced to signing this prior to employment. Is this legal? What happens when the employment is severed? This video deals with this very important issue in business law.

  • I am looking at some contract oppportunities with one of my ex-employer's client. But my separation agreement says the following:

Employee agrees that for a period of 2 years after the last day of employment with the company, Employee shall not attempt to solicit or recruit the Company's employees or otherwise interfere with the Company's relationship with its employees or customers.

I live in MA and the company is in CA. IS this enforceable?

  • I had this same situation! Thanks for the info.
