Keith Olbermann on MSNBC's Countdown, describing how the White House has remained comment-free in the wake of the deplorable conditions in treating returning troops at the Walter Reed Medical Center's halfway treatment center. Seems the Republicans - the party that chest-beats about how it supports the troops - are all AWOL.

  • bush dosnt care

  • I guess when the Bush administration says "Support our troops," it means "They will need all of your support, since they sure as hell won't be getting it from us."

  • No, not to the US military, but to the US military's shithead commander in chief, who cuts VA benefits and funding so he can give his friends more money.

  • Keith Olberman is a joke This was a pom-pom session for the democrats of Illinois. PATHETIC JOKE! - The supposed scandal was alot smaller than thought -BTW ANY PROBLEMS should be addressed but it now looks like it was a couple of buildings or wings when the hosptial has dozens of bldgs. - War sucks period but on the other hand some honest reporting & stories would be nice - when was the last pro US military story you heard? the US media is hostile towards the military!

  • did you know that the military is offering 10% disability for most injuries, they say it pre-existing, and flip you to the VA, if its pre existing, then how did we make it past the mobe site for deployment. And its not just at Walter Reed.

  • Tony Snowjob...yup,that about sum's THAT guy up. President Bush couldnt give a CRAP about our troops,he's shown that over and over and over again.Tony Snowjob say's"This is not a mantra." Which really means,'STOP ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS!'

  • As a former serviceman. I find it deplorable that "our" commander and chief only pays lip service. Off with their heads! America needs a change not in 08 but right now.

  • Worthless ? You silly person. Just ask Dick !

  • Supporting the worthless, trumped up, war, Abandoning the 'troops'. Guess caring for the injured falls to us silly liberals.
