The University of Florida / IFAS Brevard County Extension, 4-H Outdoor Technology program is a youth development program instructing specific subject matter topics to teach life skills. The subject matter areas at this time include archery, rifle, muzzleloading, shotgun, Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, natural resources and outdoor cooking, with safety being our number one priority. Some of these programs are offered regularly and some only on request or as part of our camping program. As in other 4-H learning areas, these skills that are taught cross over other learning topics and it is our goal to use them to support and enhance a childs ability to improve scholastically in science, technology, engineering and math. The venues of instruction include traditional community clubs, day camps and school enrichment. For more information visit our web site at: http://brevard.ifas.ufl.edu or call us at 321-633-1702.
