Well, I think fan ARE stupid, because they are blind, as you might know "fan" is the short for "fanatic" I think that says it all. Its better to be an admirer, because you are objective. Fanatics tend to praise everything the artist does (even the bad things)

i think her vocal cord is sensitive that's why her voice after 1996 got changed..but she can still hit those high notes even her voice got a little damaged..btw i really love her no matter what!

Mariah was AMAZING! I love her, but it's crazy how her performances are so much more powerful and comfortable THEN than now after 20 years in the game. Now she seems so awkward and uncomfortable when she sings...and her voice is no where near that level anymore. I do understand the quality of the voice does deteriorate as the years go though. Point blank, she did amazing things in her career &she will always have my respect for that. She still has more in her, not as good, but better than most!

I know this might sound bad, but I think her voice has changed because she has picked up some weight. Not to say she's fat, but Mariah was super skinny when she came out. But she's been on the thick (shapely) side for the better part of 15 years now.
