In all honesty, I am pretty horrible at playing guitar. I have found a way to use these chords (G, D, Dm, Am, C, Em, F..I think that's it) to pretty much play almost any song. They're never the RIGHT chords, but they usual sound alright. I just put the capo on to get me into a key where I can sing well.

For example, in this song I use G, Em, Am, D, and C. For my cover of Ten Cent Blues I used G, Am, C..and maybe D, I forget.
