Internet Explorer 8 Review

On March 19th, 2009 Microsoft released their new web browser, Internet Explorer 8. A long awaited update, this release is just that. It fails to does anything groundbreaking or innovative and borrows liberally from other browsers. Its still a solid release but you might be better off using another browser.

Ripped off Chrome? Nope. IE8 came up with seperate-process design and InPrivate mode before Chrome. (and Safari had "Privacy Browsing" for a long time.)

Good presentation! I'll have to watch this again. Can you answer a question? I ues IE to download youtube vids and others from different sites. I don't know if IE removed this capability from IE. I use tools, then Internet options, then in general I go to settings, then on settings I click on view files and in there is a list of cookies and temp stored fioles including youtube videos that are temp. Fromn there you can drag and drop the video on your desktop. Did they removed that feature?

ie8 suks i have it and it wont download java for me (other stuff like limewire,etc. are ok)
