On March 19th, 2009 Microsoft released their new web browser, Internet Explorer 8. A long awaited update, this release is just that. It fails to does anything groundbreaking or innovative and borrows liberally from other browsers. Its still a solid release but you might be better off using another browser.

  • Ripped off Chrome? Nope. IE8 came up with seperate-process design and InPrivate mode before Chrome. (and Safari had "Privacy Browsing" for a long time.)

  • Good presentation! I'll have to watch this again. Can you answer a question? I ues IE to download youtube vids and others from different sites. I don't know if IE removed this capability from IE. I use tools, then Internet options, then in general I go to settings, then on settings I click on view files and in there is a list of cookies and temp stored fioles including youtube videos that are temp. Fromn there you can drag and drop the video on your desktop. Did they removed that feature?
