The Karate Kid (NES)

Here is a no death playthrough of the NES game: The Karate Kid. One of the major gripes most have with this game are the difficult play mechanics, pressing "Up" to jump most notably which makes timing your jumps much more difficult. Also the game is very short at 4 levels, if you include the intro tournament stage.

If anyone has beaten this incredibly hard piece of shit, will have no sense of satisfaction, but rather regrets. It is just a waste of fucking time. It's like coming out of a fight the winner, but received nothing for all your troubles but some bloody bruises and broken bones, it is just not worth it.

@Usul573 clearly you've played it before... Not to mention you've already seen THIS video which clearly tells you how to exploit the game.. LOL In 30 minutes, someone new to the game wouldn't have figured out how to exploit shit, because they wouldn't have even made it through the typhoon level. Let alone the 3rd level which is really, REALLY hard without cheating/exploiting.. Dude I've beat games like Ghosts and Goblins, Batman, and punch-out without cheats so I know what hard is.

I beat it in about 30 minutes.

Sure it's a bit of a pain sometimes, but it didn't seem THAT bad to me.

The thing with older games is that you exploit the AI.

@Usul573 Clearly you didn't play this game when you were little!! Just getting past the level with the rain was a daunting task and you have no continues. Even as an adult with no experience, this game would take anyone with no experience with the game several hours. The only reason this guy can beat it this quick is because he knows exactly what to do, especially on the last level which is incredibly difficult without using the tactic of getting 2 guys behind you on the screen.
