Juan uses a bunch of basses. For the Deloused Tour, recording of Frances and Frances Tour he mainly used his 70's fretted jazz bass and his Fretless 70's P bass with J pickup installed and occasionally his 70's fretted P bass.
Now he seems to only use the new Jazz bass with Darkstars. I do not know if he used it to record all of Amputecture, however.

No, but that doenst mean I cant, cause in not using the b string... I was waiting for my new flatwounds to come in the mail for my P-bass, so i did it with this bass
