  • Judy made two appearances on the Sammy Davis Jr . Show one week after another, and that was after she had appeared on a Perry Como Special the week before. Do you know if this was the first appearance or the second? She did a medley with Sammy on both shows but I seem to remember they did more of their famous hits on the first one. Buz Kohan

  • This is the 2nd one because in the opening of the show Sammy Davis mentions having Judy for a second week.

  • Judy was the Greatest Entertainer of the 20th Century. Her talent cannot even be overshadowed 40 yrs after her death. She gave her all and when a singer who sings with such Gusto cannot always be in great voice. God Bless you Judy.

  • I have a different opinion from some others about Judy's appearance. While it is pales in comparison to the excellence she attains in other performances, it's a testament to her reputation as the master entertainer. Even fighting laryngitis, other entertainers fall short of her magic.

  • Judy the best ... singer actress dancer entertainer.... anyone like her! Davis Garland wonderful couple!

  • @NFitalianGuy she's not at her top from the start here, but she sure get's there

  • worth the wait to hear Garland's last thrown out notes

  • judy garland all the way, i love her so much

  • @NFitalianGuy Loved Judy but no one was greater than Sammy Davis...singer, dancer, impressionist, actor, musician extraordinaire. So much talent packed in one small frame.

  • I heard John Fricke one of Judy' s biographers said in the "for me and my gal" dvd commentary that Judy sung with Sammy Davis and the audience applauded all the time during the performance like in the middle of the song and at the end she got a 7minutes standing ovation but probably that was from another time she sung there with him. I love Judy Garland forever she wa the biggest talent of the world and so far there is no one like her. No one can touch her!

  • In what year was this? I'm pretty sure her voice is like that because she was sick or something because I've seen performances of her in the 67-69 and she sounds amazing. Still you can tell how professional she was and I still think she sounded wonderfully and this one was such a great performance. this video I priceless hope you never take it down. I heard John Fricke one of Judy' s biographers said in the "for me and my gal" dvd commentary that Judy sung with Sammy Davis and the audience appl

  • Sammy is obviously taking some of Judy's songs here as she was fighting her cold.

  • I can't believe I'm about to say this, but, even being one of the world's most ardent Judy admirers, this moment upsets me. Judy is very trashed, and it makes me a little uncomfortable. Sammy, as always, is on top of his game and in peak form. Love Judy forever, but this is tough for me to watch. Having said that, halfway through she almost seems to remember what she's capable of and nearly snaps back and delivers like no-one else can!
