i getting this lens but if it is 453.6 kg ( as the descrition says) i getting a trailer also.... :):) I just wantet you to know there is a misstype at the and.....

@arignumb sorry to disappoint ya, the boys behind lilkiwiguy stopped making videos since last year and this channel is pretty much dead. but i can tell ya this, the 60mm 2.8d af is identical with 55mm 2.8 ais. the 60mm replaced the 55mm while keeping image quality identical as well.

could you give a quick overview of the ai-s 55mm micro and how it compares to this lens? ie. usable apertures, the optics, etc.? thanks

Also beacuse I use nikon d200 and the way you tell the things about lenses. I just thinking about 105/60 micro nikkor...
BUT what is really makes me feel good, the music.
When I heard Coltrane during the vid, I smiled. But whe I heard the Flamenco Scetches.... I said it can't be... I like these artists very much too.

Will this work on the Nikon D3100 for AutoFocus?

Nope, manual focus only. The new AF-S version of this lens will work.

One hand under lens and another on camera then shoot. Just use a tripod or use shutter speeds faster than 1/60s. VR is not necessary.

Will this lens work with a d3000 camera? Will the auto focus work?? I bought this lens for my d3000 but the auto-focus is not working at all. Do you have any comments about this, i will appreciate it

Yes, it will mount and meters fine on the D3000 except no AF capability; you will be required to focus the lens manually. If you want auto focus, consider upgrading to a AF-S one.
