Aer Lingus Dublin take off 20/07/11

Departing on the final flight of the day from Dublin to London Heathrow. The flight had just 60 passengers on board but the previous Heathrow and Gatwick flight's went out full so I was lucky to get such an empty flight. I was originally sat in 29A but a mother and son threw themselves down in the row in front and both reclined their seats despite the crew repeatedly telling them to wait until after take off so I moved across.

This flight was very relaxed, I spent some of it speaking with members of the crew to pass the time. Another thumbs up from me for Aer Lingus.

Great video ! I'm flying from here with Aer Lngus to Barcelona 2m and I'm a bit confused... I heard that u might find yourself departing from T1 ? btw what were the loads like on this flight ?

@mlinnie527 In the early mornings and mid evenings T2 can get very busy and can't handle all the Aer Lingus departures so some flights depart from the nearest part of T1 which is a short walk from T2. All Aer Lingus passengers still check in and go through security at T2 and it's only ever a small number of flights that get moved to T1. There were 60 passengers on this flight, very low because two other London flights departed full just before ours. Enjoy your flight!

That was an incredibly quick take off, more like Concorde!!! Only 15 seconds approx. i'm guessing.

Great video, i was hoping that u would keep recording until the aircraft broke through the clouds which u did! Aer Lingus are good to fly with! Well done!
