The 80s were a rough time in Argentina, the economical crisis did not allow the electronic music scene see the light, while in other countries all across the world it was a real revolution. In that context, Daniel Malagoli started to raise by listening to foreign groups such as Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and New Order. At that time, the first Argentine electronic music radio station was born, the acquaintance Z-95, and Daniel, as many others, listened to it all day long. That influence was very important to him, since he had never had interest in any other music but that. Since he was 6 years old he used to listen to musical tv soundtracks of the moment which included songs by Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre. From those years, their dreams were based on things related to this kind of music, like making a radio program as heard on Z-95 or becoming and electronic musician or being a Dj or making big parties. But he was only 13 years old, and that possibility seemed to be very distant. And one day he met again an old partner from school who helped him to give their first electronic party in 1995. One year later, after knocking many doors, their dreams began to come true: Daniel is called by speaker Andrea Díaz Boglioli to be part of an electronic music radio program: "HIGHER TECH" at FM Moreno Shopping Center, with a great success! For that reason and in the same year he was called by the owner of that radio station and proposed to be the speaker of "MUSIC FOR BOYS", the only radio program from the West part of Buenos Aires dedicated to diffuse all electronic music styles, including TECHNO-POP, INDUSTRIAL, ELECTRO, HOUSE, TECHNO and TRANCE. With that same concept, and by mid 1996, he decides to create CLUB DEL TECHNO, which would become the only group of Argentine electronic music lovers. Today, this club counts with more than 8000 partners. www.clubdeltechno.com.ar In 1999 Argentina sees the amazing and massive diffusion and impact of Internet. And CLUB DEL TECHNO could not be outside this! Having the website online and a print magazine (TECNOCULTURA) it was a complete success. That gave place to the very well-known RAVES CLUB DEL TECHNO, those that Daniel Malagoli carried out his task of Manager of Djs and Musicians. Their compositions like musician are mainly HOUSE, TECHNO, TRANCE and SYNTH POP with great emphasis in the melodies, powerful rhythmic bases and synthesizers, dedicated to generate impact in the dance floor. Their sets like Dj are mainly TRANCE, EBM, and SYNTH POP, music made with machines a hundred percent, without acoustic instruments. His influences are Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, David Guetta, ATB, BT, Blank and Jones, Aly and Fila, Above and Beyond, and many others. For DANIEL MALAGOLI, people in the dance floor should not be still, it is for that reason that his sets doesn't have ups and downs, they are potent, well for Rave parties. On the other hand, their sets like Dj in Clubs and Discoteques, and like resident, walk across all the styles of electronic music, including ELECTRO, HOUSE, TECH-HOUSE, PROGRESSIVE and TECHNO, among others. 2001 is a great year. In August, Daniel Malagoli is interviewd by Kiwi Saiz and and Mariano del águila from Clarin, the most important Argentine newspaper, for a documentary dedicated to show Argentinean producers that mark tendency in this country, and in November, is called by the authorities of the more important electronic music radio station of Argentina: Energy 101, to release the last rave of the millennium, he is also called for the event Dreams by BUENOS AIRES NEWS disco, (Christopher Lambert's property), and paralelly heading an producing more Rave Parties, such as CLUB DEL TECHNO WEST ZONE and STARS, with the presence, among other, of the Dj CARLOS RUIZ (chosen by Dj TIESTO in Thirst 2003 as the best Dj in the Argentina) and of the electronic musicians pioneers of the Argentina: EL SIGNO. 2003 and 2004 are fruitful years that they find DANIEL MALAGOLI called by clubs and rave parties such as "MELODIC RAVE", "Barrancas Groove Connection" (Rave carried out close to the Paraná river), "Euphoria" (Rave carried out onboard a ship during her navigation), La Cigale, Middawn Club and again Buenos Aires News, among others. In that year he launches his Web Site as a DJ www.danielmalagoli.com.ar. Today he is arranging for a new rave with 5 dance floors! At this very moment and after remixing two singles of T.A.T.U. and DAFT PUNK, DANIEL MALAGOLI has been selected among several worldwide remixers to be part of a set of 6 records, that will be released in Mexico. He is also preparing his live show as a musician. Moreover, he is receiving demos from electronic musicians in order to be considered for a release by his own label named: CLUB DEL TECHNO Records.
