how did you put the rubber stuff on the wheels
-
what size did you get for a threaded rod? and could this work with a mousetrap car too?
-
Yay I was trying to think of a good break system
-
How exactly did you build the wheels and the brakes? Do you know of any stores or shops that would know how to provide materials and advice for this kind of project?
-
This is what I need right now. Boy do I loathe SO.

How exactly do you use the bearings in your design? Where do they go? Which type? etc. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me.
Thanks

@XerocityCA hey my axles turn all the way to the side i need help did you have that problem. my wing nut isnt doing its job because of that. any suggestions. also ca you give me the full list of things you used for your breaking system.

@XerocityCA what exactley did you use with the brakes
Hello,
What is that object that the wingnut is hitting right as it stops (grey and black colored) Also why do you have pipe clamps? And lastly what and where are the bearings used?
Thanks So Much!

@dfolke310
The grey a plastic nut and the black is just a rubber washer that compresses slightly to avoid abrupt stops and skidding.
The pipe clamps hold the bearings in place to the chassis. The bearings are under the brass clamps so you cant really see them from that angle. Basically there are 2 ABEC bearings supporting one axle that came from my roller blades. The axle spins much more freely and smoothly with bearings. You could also use bushings for the axles but that's more friction.

I really need you to answer this question. What was the thing that you used to attatch the spinning stick attatching the wheels together to the chasis. In the video, it was the color of burgendy and next to the wingnut. Please tell me what that was!

you mean the two things that hold the axle? Those are pipe clamps, 1in diameter i believe.

do u have barrings in the semicurcler copper holder? and what did u use for traction on the weels?

yes i have bearings which are held by the copper pipe clamps. I used some rubber door/window sealer on my cd wheels to create traction.
