anyone who can use a brush and paint a whole door with it, making it look good is a good painter in my personal opinion... using mini rollers are fine, a tad on the lazy side, but the skill in in the brushwork!

I fill all my doors with caulking after its been primed. I don't believe in filling cracks with paint, it just doesn't look good after it dries. I use pearl finishes and I always use a mini roller with a brush. Use extenders if your going to take so long. I have painted with farrel and ball paints so you have to be fast. Depending on the quality of the paint, just using a brush isn't advisable.
