Quranic substitution: The following link is a Muslim explaination for all of the the changes in the Quran. Mostly, it excuses that substitution by pointing to similar contradictions in the Bible, which to me doesn't make a damn bit of difference. God doesn't change his mind. If the Bible has such contradictions, it is wrong. If the Quran has such contradictions, it also is wrong. Muslims, you have been conned. The Quran is NOT FROM GOD!

@Spreadthemessage007 "the haddith aren't real" You must be Shia. I admit that most of the haddith I read are Sunni haddith, but the Shia have haddith too, and I am trying to learn more about their haddith, although English translations are harder to find. But I don't need any haddith to prove that the Quran, all by itself, is full of contradictions, scientific errors, pardoxes and lies. I can show you ample proof from verses within the Quran itself that Mohammad was a liar, if you'd like.

@Spreadthemessage007 You challenge me to "research more and find the true essence." I challenge you to do the same thing... "research more and find the true essence." I honestly don't know what that true essence is, but I know what it is not, and it is NOT Islam. Islam is evil. Mohammad was evil. People who believe in Islam have been brainwashed to never truthfully examine their faith or question its many, many problems. As a result, the world suffers.

@Spreadthemessage007 ... reinvent what the pervert prophet was saying by changing it entirely. All the did was basically tell that "thinking" people knew that the whole idea of abrogation was WRONG! The real God would NEVER have to substitute something he had said with something BETTER later. The real God would get it right the FIRST time. These verses basically prove that Islam is a total lie, all by themselves. You've been conned and you're just too stubborn to admit it (yet).

@Spreadthemessage007 ... to the original Arabic. The pervert prophet was trying to explain away why some things he had said earlier contradicted some things he said later, so he came up with his "abrogation" verses. (2:106 is not the only one). Basically, he was trying to come up with a reason he could sell to the dumbasses who were buying his bullshit for why God would every change his mind. Those English translators realized how stupid the whole concept was, and they tried to reinvent....

@Spreadthemessage007 "don't depend on 1 source" Well, my main source is the Quran. I read 4 different English translations, which can vary widely in some verses, so I read Arabic verses and translate those when those 4 main English versions differ. One verse that the English translators came up with totally different words is 2:106. Some came up with "we never abrogate' while others came up with "Whenever we abrogate". As it turns out, the 'whenever" we abrogate is most close...

@nedloh325
You read extremely wrong translations and should progress toward in some other source. Don't depend on 1 source. Research more and find the true essence. (equality and justice)

Allah has given us a complete book therefore hadith aren't needed.
