Berkeley Lab's Environmental Energy Technologies Division launches its Distinguished Lecturer series with a talk by Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, whose mission is to "assist great entrepreneurs determined to build companies with lasting significance." In his October 3, 2008 talk, Khosla discusses his approach to nurturing sustainable industries and technologies that can reduce our impact on the climate. Khosla was also the founding Chief Executive Officer of Sun Microsystems, and later joined venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
